The Theory test is made up of 2 parts, Multiple Choice Questions and Hazard Perception.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – Part 1

In part 1 of the theory test, you will be presented with 50 multiple choice questions on a range of topics which include Road Procedure, Traffic Signs and Signals, Car Control, Pedestrian, Mechanical Knowledge, Driving Test, Disabilities, Law and Publications.

In order to pass the MCQ part of your theory test, you must score a minimum of 43 out of 50 points.

Hazard Perception – Part 2

In Hazard perception part, you will be shown 14 CGI clips stimulating real driving situations. Your task is to identify a developing hazard as early as possible to score up to 5 points per clip.

One clip will contain 2 developing hazards so you can score up to 10 points for that clip.

In order to pass the hazard perception part you must score a minimum of 44 out of 75 points.
